The Authority is responsible for ensuring the quality of healthcare services and their continuous improvement, regulating and organizing the health sector according to quality standards, accrediting healthcare facilities according to these standards, and monitoring their application to ensure sustainability.

Our Role
Our role extends beyond evaluating healthcare facilities by specialists with internationally certified expertise. We also provide assistance to healthcare facilities to improve their performance and reduce risk factors, using scientific methodology in risk management and identifying risks before they occur.
Capacity Building
The Authority offers a comprehensive preparatory program to enhance the performance of healthcare workers, thereby improving the healthcare system's performance through optimal utilization of available resources and using scientific methodology in measuring and monitoring performance.

The establishment of the Authority aligns with the State's strategic objectives (Vision 2030) regarding transparency and efficiency of government institutions, implementing a rigorous regulatory system with clarity, transparency, and fairness to ensure the quality and safety of healthcare services.
