In alignment with The General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR) vision to instill the quality and safety culture in the healthcare sector and build the capacities of healthcare professionals, GAHAR developed the EGY- CAP Certification Framework.
The Egyptian Certified Accreditation Professional is an individual who passed the GAHAR EGY- CAP Exam and be able to set up the healthcare facilities for accreditation by demonstrating competent knowledge, skills, abilities and understanding of Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Concepts, Human Resource Management, Infection Prevention and Control Measures, Patient Centered Care Framework, Coordination for survey processes and adoption of participative leadership model.
In order for the candidate to be eligible for GAHAR EGY-CAP Exam, it is mandatory to:
Must be a professional in the various health sectors (government - private - NGO - medical services sector in the armed forces - Ministry of Interior)
Study the professional diploma that qualify for GAHAR EGY-CAP Exam from one of the institutions that signed cooperation protocol with GAHAR which are up till this date:
